November Rain

November 1, 2013 Photos of the day: "November Rain"

“But there is always a November space
after the leaves have fallen
when she felt it was almost indecent
to intrude on the woods…
for their glory terrestrial had departed
and their glory celestial
of spirit and purity and whiteness
had not yet come upon them.”
~ L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Windy Poplars

Happy Halloween!
What are your plans for this funny holiday?

Will you head to the local pumpkin patch...

...to choose the perfect pumpkin?

Will you carve a spooky or silly jack-o-lantern?

Don't forget to roast the pumpkin seeds!
(Here's the recipe)

Will you go Trick-or-Treating?

(Hope you don't get a rock :)

Or will you stay up late to wait for The Great Pumpkin?

Happy Halloween!

Potential

When situations and people seem prickly,
remember that their barbs
are usually a means of defense,
a necessary protection
to nurture something delicate and beautiful,
until is it ready to reveal its full potential.

"Out of My Gourd!"

Some days are so hectic!
My Googly Eyes are spinning around in my head!

Despite the chaos, I managed to contain myself...

After all, hard work and dedication are what it takes to stand out!
