Bisous, Paris!

I left Paris in the snow this morning,
but I know I'll be back!

After all, I stepped on "Point Zéro"
 to ensure my return!

Chère Paris,
I enjoyed our time together this weekend.
You are so beautiful, especially in white!
For now, I bid you farewell, 
but I will see you in the springtime.

Warming Up

It was a cold, gray day in Paris
with snow flurries & biting winds.
I can't think of a more decadent way to warm up!

No matter how many times I come to Paris,

Down the champs-Élysées
From the Arch oh Triomphe 
To the Petit Palais
That's for me!

I want to wander 
Through the Saint-Honoré
Do some window shopping
In the Rue de la Paix
That's for me!
Bonjour, Paris!

I want to see the den of thinking men
Like Jean-Paul Sartre
I must philosophize with all the guys
Around Montmartre and Montparnasse

I'm strictly tourist 
But I couldn't care less
When they parlez-vous me
Then I gotta confess
That's for me!
