I  have received some lovely gifts 
from my students this year: 
a huge replica of the Eiffel Tower
"Paris Amour" lotion, spray, hand sanitizer
adorable note cards
Paris-themed iPhone 5 case
Paris & sailing coffee mugs
They are so sweet and generous! 

Yet as much as I adore these thoughtful gifts, 
it's this kind of gift that means the most to me:

I ♥ Chocolate!

March 3, 2013 Photo of the day: "I ♥ Chocolate"

 Yesterday I went into Allô Chocolat in Waukesha.
It's French name (and the chocolate) attracted me right away.
The shop is cute with a great variety of candies.
Unfortunately I wanted to straighten the rows of truffles.

These hearts were flavored with wines.

Although the flavors sounded delicious and looked pretty,
the two truffles I tried were a bit waxy.

I'll wait for Easter in Paris to indulge at

Being "Auntie" to 3 boys is amazing,
but whenever I get a chance to shop 
for a little girl, my heart sings!

My friend, Kathleen, the baby girl's "Nani,"

They tasted even better than they look!
