March 5, 2015 {64/365} "Preview"
“Despite the forecast, live like it's spring.” - Lilly Pulitzer
On this cold March day, who couldn't use a little preview?

"Be everything that's you, deep at the center of your being." - Confucius
March 3, 2015 {62/365} "Inside"
"What lies behind you and what lies in front of you, pales in comparison to what lies inside of you.' - Emerson
What lies behind me today: an hour and a half of white-knuckle navigation of 35 miles of sloppy, slippery roads. Oh, how I wish I could have stayed inside!
What lies in front of me today: 8 hours of a graduate class on Designing Effective Instruction at Cardinal Stritch University, another 35 miles of slippery roads home, an hour-long online class on Personalized Learning and then, a big glass of wine!
What lies inside of me: strength, perseverance, patience, critical thinking, creativity, hope...
March 2, 2015 {61/365} "Here Comes the Sun"
"Little darling, it's been a long, cold lonely winter. Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here. Here comes the sun. Here comes the sun, and I say, It's all right. Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting. Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear.mHere comes the sun. Here comes the sun, and I say, It's all right." - George Harrison, The Beatles
March 1, 2015 {60/365} "In like a lion..."
I had a really lovely birthday weekend, starting with pampering at the Pfister Well Spa, visits with friends and family, and ending with my traditional birthday brunch at Lake Park Bistro. February is officially over, yet the freezing weather remain and March brings a prediction for unseasonably cold temperatures.
The icicles on the eaves of the clubhouse were both beautiful and menacing
March has come in like a lion, but it is the year of of the sheep...
So here's hoping it goes out like a lamb!
