An Irish Blessing

May love and laughter light your days and warm your heart and home. May good and faithful friends be yours wherever you may roam. May peace and plenty bless your world with joy that long endures. May all life's passing seasons bring the best to you and yours! - An Old Irish Blessing

Déjà vu

I'm back in the Dells for the Spring Midwest Google Summit where I'm presenting a Gmail Intervention and a session on aligning Edtech tools to the Wisconsin Educator Effectiveness system. Last fall's Midwest Google Summit sold out in four hours, so this spring, there's a second opportunity to learn from Google Certified Teachers, Google Education Trainers, and tech-savvy educators around the midwest. This summit sold out too, so if you can't be here in the Dells to learn with us, here's are links to this spring's sessions and all of the session from the past five years.

French Friday: Bicyclette

13 mars 2015 {71/365} « Bicyclette »

Despite the gorgeous pastries in the windows of Angelina on the rue de Rivoli, this pretty bicyclette with its Tiffany blue paint, gold fenders, and rattan basket beckoned to me. Do you think its owner would mind if I just took it for a little spin around the Right Bank? I'd head to the rue Cambon to faire la lèche-vitrine chez Chanel; stop for a kir in the courtyard of the Hôtel Costes; circle the Place Vendôme to check on the progress of the Ritz renovation; continue to the rue de la Paix and Repetto where I'd shop for some cute, pedal-friendly ballet flats; meander blissfully around the Opéra District and the Palais Royal, taking in the beautiful Paris architecture before a leisurely stroll through the Tuileries gardens. Doesn't that sound lovely?  Now, if I only could find another bike to borrow on the Left Bank ;-)
